Forget all the current stuff. That stuff is all accurate but its small change. He's about as Canadian as a Tim Hortons store. Long since foreign owned and now just shilling for gambling sites. My beef goes all the way back to Bruce McNall and his move to L A. Wayne was paid with fraudulent funds via a personal services contract. McNall was into fake coins before there was meme coins. That part of the story never gets told. Bruce did hard time and Wayne cashed the cheques. NHL (soon to be) all time goal scoring duo. Two totally unlikeable people.

He won 4 cups for the Oilers. He was never going to get paid the LA/NY money staying in edmonton. I don't really blame him for how things played out, A lot less money in the game back then. He did a lot for Edmonton, and still got his payday. I don't think he was thinking about all that gambling as revenue back in the late 90s
