2 games into preseason have been rather disappointing. Plenty of chasing and defending and precious little offense.

I expect Blues to play their usual physical game... we'll see if they push the Hawks around.

Kid just screams NHL player. He is still very raw and we can see that but man the tools jump out. And as you know, speed, playing physical and size will always play in the league.

100%. Kid was a steal. Even if he never develops an offensive game he will be a useful 3rd-4th liner. He develops his offence he could be a legitimate piece. Can’t believe how good he has looked out there.

I'll be honest. I thought Maroon was slower. He's not fast but he isn't Handzus slow either. Hell Corey Perry was a bit slower last year.

Just caught the end of that period, but looked like they had Allan on the L and EDM on the R that last shift. Have they been there all period? Interesting if so. Basically the lone position available is a LD one.

Obviously not saying he will get there, but the way he plays is like a cross of Hjalmarsson and Forsling.

Dach is playing well but he can't just skate into bad situations..... he seems to leave himself vulnerable, not a good thing for a guy who has had at least 1 concussion.
