With how bad the reffing has been, I think you honestly have to wonder if the NHL is maybe preferring if North America doesn't make it to the elimination rounds, instead preferring to see actual country representation in the finals. Because this has been some of the worst officiating I've seen in a long time.

Geez Luise, Kelly is right...GIbson is hurt...he's can't keep his balance, he's slow moving side to side...he's staggering around in the blue ice like a drunken sailor...the meltdown is COMING...Get him outa there...I know Hellebuyck hasn't played a minute,,,BUT he's a good goalie...this is brutal to watch...

T NA can't buy a break with their netties...outshoot Russia 46-25 and Murray gives up 4 goals in 4 shots after he hurts his thumb...not saying Russia wasn't the better team during that span....but u need a goalie that's not hurtin facing shooters like that...

North America has only scored 10 goals in this tournament. Gaudreau has not been in on 8/10 goals....

This game has been great and enjoyable.

It's giving me a lot of reasons to like World Cup more, even if just for the good games with the top end players.

The tournament will most likely never mean that great deal to me on emotional or achievement level because of many things like tourney formation and timing, but it's entertaining with high skill level, so what's not to like as far as good hockey is concerned. More the merrier.
