Defensemen supporting the offense is one of Swedens strongest sides. We saw it when Hedman scored against Russia and now with Strålman. Not the easiest thing to prevent, especially when H. Sedin is behind the goal controlling the game.

That's what I like from these games, the star defensemen are utilized as star defensemen to some extent. I would just like to see Karlsson wreaking havoc with some more pinches and creating some more oddman rushes. But I guess it's conservative hockey on the schedule.

We've seen like three rushes from Karlsson in these two games. That's kind of sad and my bet is the coaches have instructed him to play conservative hockey. Just let him play his game dammit.

Sweden has been very underwhelming, you have every chance to come back in this game!

Well, I don't know, both teams look like they could have an extra shift but neither are willing to take many risks. I guess Sweden could and should have been more aggressive, but then again very aggressive forecheck is not really your thing. This is what our games often look like even when not best on best.

1st/2nd/4th line have been worse.

Hopefully Marjamaki starts playing Barkov line more in the offensive situations, we neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to score.

Finland wins every key faceoff. Took the pressure off during Swedish dominance after the goal, may have saved the game.
