They are so smart. Just doing the right things, big and small, all the time.

Yes, I agree. While they do have an element of flair to their game, what makes them great is precision and consistency. Henrik doesn't always make a spectacular pass (although he does often) but he always makes the correct pass, and it's always on the tape.

It took Forsberg about half the season to get going last year in the NHL, then he just took over completely. But the first 40 games is basically what you see here. Just kind of flaily.

I guess laine at 18 is already finlands best player lol

What I don't get is why, when Laine's actually really good on the rush, every attack by that line is played to the wing where Laine is not, then Laine only receives the puck when it comes up to him from the boards(And that's where Laine isn't exactly great). I don't get why they don't pass to him instead of Aho first in that situation.

Let's see if this repeats.

Why on earth did Hagelin only play 3 minutes in the first period. Sweden isnt extremely stacked on offense but they are deep and more important they are deeper than Finland. Take advantage of it and let Hagelin etc forecheck the hell out of their defense atleast a couple more shifts each period.

Vatanen is addicted to icings.

When he had a lot of time with the puck, why didn't he just lob it to the middle ice?

Hags-krüger-Silf aren't having a good game
