Can we take a moment and talk about how calm Crosby is despite Kesler and Abdelkader cross checking him repeatedly?

Him and Marchand both visibly kept their cool when it seemed like they normally wouldn't.

That's the buy-in that keeps players like Hall and Subban home.

I thought his finalist spot was laughable too. 40-wins and the name Quick earned the spot. There were a handful of goaltenders much more deserving of a spot. All of his stats, outside of his win total (team stat) were the norm.

Torterella better not ever see the bench in an international tournament again. And USA better get guys like Lombardi, Bowman, etc to make the decisions on setting up future USA teams. It's embarrassing guys like Burke, Poile, etc. have a say in it. Phil Kessel is one of our best American players, yet before he was even injured, never was even selected.

this, USA hockey is stronger than ever. Just some old obsessive mentality by your admins. Just need new admins and a fresh mentality.

P.S To be fair , team NA is affecting the US way more than Canada. ( Gaudreau,eichel,matthews,)

****ing idiots. Burke is part of the management so obviously USA is out hitting Canada. Lombardi is the GM...I just want to know whose brilliant idea it was to have Torts coach the team.

It's kind of sad for USA but Ron Wilson has been their best coach in the last decade or so. Vancouver was their best performance.

USA also has Bishop who has been to the Conference Finals and SCF the last two years, who is a Vezina finalist himself and Schneider. USA has the best overall goaltending in the tournament in terms of depth.
