Not really. It's been the same as usual this tournament; McDavid's line and MacKinnon/RNH have been good. Need more out of the Eichel line; him and Gaudreau had a chance earlier on but have been pretty quiet. Couturier line is the closest the team will get to a "checking" line so we probably shouldn't expect much offense out of them.

Probably benched after his million turnover first period.

He had a poor period, but to bench him for turnovers after Saad, Couturier, Eichel turnover sprees is odd.

If he's being benched, it's probably from the lack of intensity he's shown in this game.

Failed powerplay, Eichel's fault, not like Matthews and McD did anything on it, but clearly it is Eichel's fault as everything is.

he is just generally having a garbage game. easy to pin it on the guy who has been the most disappointing skater (Murray takes the cake though)

It seems like everyone has quick passes on the PP but then when Eichel gets the puck, he feels the need to hold on to it for 6 seconds before making a move.

Yep. He is not a good fit on a team like this. He's been by far the worst player on the team.

It's a tough decision for team NA. You want goals so you gotta try to use Rielly's offense. But at same time you dont want NA to score more goals with him on the ice like they've had.

Use him just for PP.

Why the **** is Ghost on the PP if he's not going to one-time those feeds that McDavid keeps giving him? ****ing useless in this tournament.

Great play there by Nuge, they almost jammed that in.

All one pass? He hasn't had many touches at all once the team gets into the OZ. What the hell is Ghost supposed to do when they aren't running the PP through the point?

This has been the 1st game in the entire tourney(exhibition games included), where gaudreau has not impressed me. He's been invisible for the most part today and hasn't created anything besides one shot on the pp i think in the 1st. It's okay though as every player will have off games, but it is unsettling for team NA fans that if he's not creating offense, than his line just dies. I think he should get his own line with two power players. Give Mcdavid his line(current one), get eichel to center line 3 with rnh on wing and larkin on wing. Have gaudreau control the 2nd line with saad, and drouin/mack.
