It does look like he is struggling but the organization has committed to him playing on the NHL squad and I don’t see them changing course after their bringing in his mentor for the next three years.

Nemeth is easily moved if someone like robertson beats him out.
I also think schneider will be nhl ready next year at the latest, and his style fits the team far better, especially if we have fox at the top.

Yep. Hit his stride even later than Panarin, though.

I don't expect Bread to still be a 100+ point guy at age 34-35, but I could certainly still see him scoring 70-80 points. And that's good enough for him to never have to be bought out, and be open to an extension at a reduced rate once his seven years are up.

In Russian Nemets means German. Which I think comes from the word for foreign.
