No, this is incorrect. They've been a good offensive team all season, but have had horrible shooting luck. They're a dumpster fire on defense which I've been blaming AV for since 2014.

It's not that complicated to fix the problem right now. Zib and Hayes lines have been playing well tonight, but the DD line has been bad. Push Buch up because he's looked good at 5v5 tonight and Drop DD to rotate with Grabner. Their 6 best dmen are McD, Smith, Staal, Skjei, ADA, and Shatty (not in any order) so find pairings that work and let the team develop some damn chemistry.
 
Anybody else feeling like they need to take a shower after being on this board because of all the love YearOfTheCat dishes out :laugh:

Maybe I worded that wrong. The line problems are AV.

Top 6 is KZB, Nash-Miller-Zucc, Hayes, and whichever two of Vesey/Grabner/Fast are playing well. Desharnais on the bottom line with the other, and Carey/Cracknell/or 7D. Why can't AV understand this? He makes the weirdest combinations that make no sense, gets rid of good combinations.

What I don't understand is that he can skate, which is what goes with age first but he has lost his hands, which doesn't go as easily.

Is Zibs just not concentrating or is it just bad ice? So many pucks bouncing off his stick poorly today.
 
I'm rage quitting this season if McDonagh just broke his hand ala Klein from Ovi two years ago
