I'm not usually an angry and reactionary fan, but I don't want to see the top unit (all 5 of them) until10 minutes into the second. They gave up both goals with sloppiness, and they didn't exactly generate much either. Sit em for half a period and see if that sends a message to the entire bench.

The guy cannot come up with a timely save when it matters anymore.
Misread the play behind the net on the first goal, and on the second goal you can't fault him, but you need to make him a big save.
This is one of the worst starts to a season he has had in his career. They need better goaltending out of him to start to climb the standings.

I don't know if this has been said but I really believe the horrendous PP is having a psychological effect on the team. They came out well and were skating with the Devils. Then came the PPs. Torts really has to address this. Someone needs to be held accountable.
I can't even say they've looked better than the Devils this period. They have zero puck control and most of all they're down two. Can't try to sugar coat this.

With the talent this team has, there is not excuse for the PP to be so bad. This is the most unimaginative PP I have ever seen. No one moves around, puck doesn't move much, they don't ever tire out the other team's PK.
The 2nd unit on that one sequence showed how to move the puck. The multi-millionaires on the first unit never do that.

This is a bad hockey team.
If this team misses the playoffs, Torts has to go. His failure to improve the powerplay one iota during his tenure is unforgivable.
It seems the coaches make our PP even worse. At least it looked best with Miller and Kreider who could hardly "practice" it with the Rangers.
