Signed his ELC almost immediately, making him ineligible for North Dakota of the WCHA of the NCAA. Went to Plymouth of the OHL who owned his CHL rights. Where he was over PPG player last year. 62 points in 61 games.

This year, he won gold at the WJC with USA. Has been maturing as a professional in Hartford.

Called up.

Big kid, skates very well. Strong. Responsible, physical player. Very good hands and intelligence. Underrated playmaking skills. Good on faceoffs. Great character. Works his ass off. Solid board play. Solid around the net.

Comparables: Mike Richards, Ryan Kesler, Dustin Brown, Brandon Dubinsky.

Going to be a heck of player.

To be fair, he has not been too good in Hartford according to the reports of people who consistently watch.

Who knows, though. Maybe he'll pull a Hagelin.

I wouldn't worry too much about Miller starting on the fourth line considering how much Torts' switches the lines. For all we know, we can see him on the second line by the end of the second period.

What do I fail to understand? That Rupp never did anything besides beat the **** out of Kopecky?

He sure prevented Sauer from getting hurt, also Gaborik. Goons are pointless. Prust's are valuable players because they are hockey players that can drop the gloves. Rupp's are worthless because they add nothing from a talent standpoint, they ONLY drop the gloves.

They always broadcast the games on two channels and I believe the Devils never play on MSG. They either play on MSG+ or MSG+2.

What kills me is how they try and act like they are still winning Cups despite it being a DECADE since their last one...and since then one and done's with one cindarella rub last season.

For a fanbase who have killed ours for yrs for over-celebrating 94, and rightfully so, it's time to take your own advice----TEN years is a loooonnngg time ago in the sports world so realize as a fan base this isn't 1995-2003
