Cant continue being outshot by double. I dont mind being outshot by a small margin if they are playing well, but by x2 just aint going to cut it.

Love that Gauthier is shooting so much, he just needs to stay consistent, one will go in.

I am not as worried as others about the shot total for the Ducks tonight. It was a road game, and historically the road teams have a tendency to have noticeably fewer shots than the home team.
Getting outshot 2 - 1 does seem a bit excessive, however.

Seems to happen to the Ducks at home all the time as well.

Thats the important part, and its a trend. Outshot 20-29, eh whatever, as long as they played well. But when its that big of a disparity, its a problem.

dude the shot keepers are wild. we just went from 20 to 19 while getting a shot, then they get two counts for one shot lol.
I thought this multiple times during the game. At one point in the 1st, the Ducks took a shot and they added a count for each team. The Islanders have been known to embellish certain stats such as hits. It wouldn't surprise me

I'm not yet in the send Gauthier to the AHL camp. It might not be best for the team short term but he's making improvements each game. He is getting shots on goal more consistently and once they start going in, his confidence will rise and hopefully his overall play.

Dostal, Terry, Fabbri, Strome, Dumoulin, and Monty continue to have strong play. McTavish and Killorn continue to disappoint even with McTavish getting points tonight.

It was very evident that Zegras was more involved playing at center. At minimum, his improvement was worth a longer look at center.
