On an individual level, i’m happy for Ersson

I think that we can stop with the idea that Ersson can’t be a #1 goalie. He can do the job but needs an adequate backup. He was run into the dirt this year.

if the Red Wings alone win the playoff odds will be the same as this morning.

If the Caps, Red Wings and Pens win? The Flyers will go from something like 5% chance of playoffs coming into today to ~1%.

Flyers have only themselves to blame. Could have won a single f***ing game during that 8 game losing streak against scrubs and they’d have given themselves a chance. I feel nothing for them.

Caps win does not move the needle thaaat much, due to ROW and fact Flyers play them final game.

But does reduce odds as means Flyers will lose ability to pass Caps with an OT/SO win in last game if Caps win their next game vs Bruins.

15th is probably the worst can pick if dont make playoffs due to St. Louis... they are at 89 points with 2 games left and would have to lose both in regulation for Flyers to be able to catch them.

And that would also mean they had to pass 2/3 of Red Wings, Caps and Penguins.

Come June, a brand new 200 ft two way center or a fine, big shot blocking Dman is coming our way. One things for sure, the kid we take with that 15th selection will be the proud owner of a massive sack.
