Zegras is missing something boldy has.. Hockey IQ.. Our so young players all have the problem.. Its a culture issue with our franchise. Z, Mac T.. IQ is not great

I actually appreciated the effort in the third period, spoiled only by Gudas making an awful pass with time and control in the neutral zone. I was really rooting for playing spoiler. I hope for zero good things for Ryan Hartman. Screw that guy.

Carlsson looked good. Moore and Washe didn't do a ton but acquitted themselves well. I'm hopeful.

Anaheim have made a step forward this year but there is still a ways to go and I am not convinced Cronin is the right guy there are still clear structural issues but does he deserve credit for the development of some of our key young guys? Perhaps

MacT was considered having good hockey sense in his draft year. As was Z.

I just can't get past separating Carlsson and Gauthier is OT. How does putting Carlsson with Killorn help the youth grow and learn in big moments? Gauthier and McTavish similarly was strange because they don't play on the same line and have less chemistry. I'm not sure what his strategy is in these choices.

This is just a microcosm of the issue: talented players forced to play an failing system with an unqualified coach. It's hard to watch, and Verbeek needs to hold the coaches accountable.
