If LaCombe didn't communicate that he was changing, then I have a hard time putting all the blame on Gudas for that goal. LaCombe skated out of Gudas' vision while the Wild had the puck. If I were Gudas and LaCombe didn't say anything, I would've assumed the middle was covered, too.

Zegras has become a bad hockey player

At the very least he's the most overrated player on the team by the fans and it is probably because of the lacrosse goals he used to score. When its brought up how the team has a better record when he's in the lineup even when he doesn't score and is negative defensively I don't know how him being in the lineup is supposed to make them better.

Sadly he's not a long term solution for Leo. But we have a mold of what works well with at least.

I've noticed that his good games have typically come against bad teams and he seems to be less effective against the better ones. I might take a deeper look at that later.
