Well aware of his past. But HC is different than assistant and NHL is different than AHL. We've seen numerous HCs who were good at AHL jot be able to succeed in the NHL and same with highly touted assistants not cutting it as HC. There is still a learning curve, different set of responsibilities.
All I'm saying is I'm reserving my criticism until the guy has an offseason to reflect, make changes and hope for a healthier season.
