I think he would be on 2nd line in Hawks and on Canucks right now.

i dunno... he would be behind Bolland who is their 2ed line center.. with Kesler being out i can see him on the 2ed line now on Canucks.. but i think he is a 3rd line player.. 50 pt player....

Nice to know Marty is in net tonight. Maybe for once we won't be losing after the first shot.

Heh, burn. We haven't lost a single game this season due solely to goaltending. The solution for the Rangers, honestly, is to remember to play with a scrap of brain.

And the idea that we're gonna hand a top 5 pick to Columbus is absurd. Nash, Richards, Gaborik, and Lundqvist will be good enough on their own to prevent that from happening

I know it's not Hank's fault but I feel the need to break his balls just to get him back in Vezina form.

Name me one player who scored 50 points on the third line last year. This is not a video game, or the 80's. 3rd liners do not score 51 points.

Ok, Jordan Staal had exactly 50. With Crosby being out for a long time, therefore pushing Staal into the top 6 behind Malkin.

It's funny how everyone always mentions the video games. Trust me, I wish my 3rd line center in NHL 13 got 50 points

The Stepan criticism needs to stop. He is 22 years old. The kid is our 2nd line center because he can produce like one. 51 points is a 2nd liner. What do you want 65-75 points? Because that's a 1st line center on the majority of the teams in this league. Cut the crap.

I mean, I understand the criticism he gets at times because he has played mediocre this year. What I hate is the outlandish comments to trade him or remove him from the team.

Tampa looks good yes, but you also have to take in consideration that they have had an easy schedule so far compared to the Rangers.

He'll come around and get some points I'm sure, but the thing is, looking at the cap situation this is probably the best team we'll have over the next few years, and it's a shortened season.

We don't have time to sit here and wait for Stepan to dig his head out of his ass.

I can't believe someone said they'd move Stepan for a draft pick that's probably in the 20's what a joke.

I'd move Stepan for one thing: an improvement at the same exact position. Moving him for a pick is extremely counter-productive given his age and our current situation.

Wasn't he eying a return back into the league?

He can't raise and turn his glove hand, so he tried an adapted blocker in the ECHL, but it didn't work well so he is officially retired now.

Here he is at the winter classic using two blockers.

And an article where he discusses the injury.
