Cutter is getting residual heat from people's frustrations with Mac and Z. If those two were popping the mood would be different I think

He's less than 10 games in. I'm a lot more worried about Mctavish. With Cutter it's clear he's just adjusting to the speed of the game. He's going to be a big time volume shooter and goal scorer like Timo Meier. With McT we're in year 3 of being lazy in all 3 zones and taking stupid stick infractions.

When we’re playing at our worst, as we are now, we are completely incapable of either applying pressure or surviving pressure.

I think the former is a systems/coaching issue, but the latter is almost entirely on the players.

So we’re kind of f***ed both ways at the moment.

Dude , Drysdale is in his 5th NHL season, this is Cutter’s first season and the Flyers have a much better coach than the Ducks.

I feel like part of the reason they won't just fire it and wait for the perfect tap-in goals is the players are all aware of how terrible at puck recovery they are, they KNOW they're one-and-done.

He’s fun offensively and frequently a train wreck in his own zone. I think he needs to learn defensive structure unless we want to convert him to wing.
