His stats are good. He's been asked continually to play way above his skill level and been mercilessly beat on by fans and media through most of the season as thanks. He's been a warrior coming back from injury because the team needed him badly and had no other options.

Kid has HEART....... and I like and appreciate players with heart.

If more played with that amount of guts wed be in PO's already and resting players by now.

I agree. I said "Welcome back" as he went by me last game. Kevan seemed surprised and said "Thank you".

He does play with much heart. Seems like a nice kid too

You know it has been a crap season when the 7th player award goes to a first liner who is already a good scorer. Not a whole lot of players going above expectations, that's for sure.

He deserved it. No one expected him to be 4th in goal scoring or having 37 goals going into the season. Most wondered if he would ever make 30. Good call.
