7th Player Award meaning changed?

Campbell? :sarcasm:

I think like most have said, it's hard to pick anyone else over Pasta, even with the amount of games played.

I actually think my next pick might be Krug. I think he's had a pretty great year for how the teams been this season, and really helped in the transformation of our PP.

Krug has been right in line with what I think myself and many others expected, if not a tad worse. He wouldn't be a bad pick if he ended up winning though.

Still, it has to be Pasta at this point. I had absolutely zero expectations of him this year, and was happy to just see him get a few games under his belt, fully assuming he'd spend the year in PRO. He's been a huge surprise at how well his game has been so far.

25 points in 40 games, or 24 points in 35 games since he was called up for good, as a young 18 year old is nothing to scoff at.

I voted for Pasta awhile back. I've been lucky lately with these contest things - got a Garden Card and a Dunkin Donuts card recently. New car, pls?

I kinda wish Talbot were on the ballot. By being not-Caron, he's REALLY improved the team - although I guess perhaps not "about and beyond expectations".

It's Pasta... Guys like Kelly and Eriksson have played great but they haven't played above expectations. Even our best players have either barely played to what we've expected them to, or haven't.

Pasta came out of nowhere. Not many expected him to play an NHL game for another 2-3 years, let alone put up good stats
