The awesome thing about Lehner for a 1 is that it was the first example of Harrington blaming moves he didn’t like on analytics. As if any analytics person would have advocated trading that 1 for an unproven goalie. Or any goalie that wasn’t like…one of four or five guys in the league. Let us know early that he would blame analytics for anything that was bad. A pattern he continues to this day.

He gets paid to write about hockey. Isn’t it amazing? Never seen someone as uninterested in learning about what he covers than him. Does no prospect work. Gloats about not following the Amerks. Meh, his career save percentage is .917 over 12 seasons and he was pretty consistent (didn't really have a bad season). That is very good, and worth a 21st overall pick.

The problem is he was a head case (like other Murray trades). It's like Murray thought if you acquired enough locker room cancers they would cancel each other out.
