Renewing Gudas is not going to be a problem, but having him for one more year will be if the team keeps playing him as a top-pairing D.

Gudas would be nice for a playoff round. When the refs are a bit more hands off, thats when his value will shine.

Problem is, can a team playing him as much as the Ducks do make the playoffs.
