Eakins is far from the problem in Edmonton. He could be benching Hall, Eberle and RNH every game for the garbage plays they pull on a nightly basis, but those guys are untouchable.

Eakins will be a good NHL coach one day. Its not his fault the front office is the worst in hockey and they convinced the current group they were some sort of Dynasty in the making.

Yup. 52 points. Zucc is at 52 points as well in 5 less games. Richards is at 49, he will break 50.

Outside of those three, Richards, Step and Zucc, are we going to have anyone else break 50 points? That's pretty weak that we won't even have one player hit 60 points. And no, St. Louis doesn't count.

Even those who don't bash him, I feel like they don't realize that they are watching the best goalie to ever play for the original 6 franchise. He could very well go down as the best player in franchise history. If he doesn't pass Leetch, I definitely see him as a top 3 player in NYR history.
