Based on Puckpedia, he has to be signed in 2026 so we still have a year to sign him. Wouldn't be opposed to bring him this summer though as I don't think lots of rookies will be joining Laval next year.

I hope they sign him this summer (otherwise as I understand it we lose him). I’ve given up on Kidney so for me I’d swap them.

Awesome. No rush then. Let him play another year in Switzerland. Plus he was a late birthday in his draft year.
I read he's one of those high energy gritty types that finishes checks and buzzes around. Never really seen him play but that is always valuable on bottom 6.

He was drafted out of the OHL, which usually gives a team 2 years to sign the prospect. However, because he went to play in Europe, it extended the expiration date of his rights.

He's a Lehkonen-lite type, but a tad smaller and a right hand shot. Excellent motor and just enough tools to contribute some offense.
