Gudas has been pretty bad the last few games. Injury perhaps or just run down...otherwise next year could be rough with him.

Yep, but our coach is too dumb to realise that playing Gudas nearly 20 minutes a game is a stupid decision when he's never played that much per game on average at any point in his entire career.

We're doing him no favours treating him as a #1 RHD when he's played his best hockey as a 2nd and 3rd pairing guy.

I’d love for the team to be in a position where a couple small-moderate changes would put us in a good spot, but we really aren’t.

We need a top 6 goal scorer, a top pairing RD, a new coach, 2 bottom 6 forwards, and probably a new captain.

We’ll be lucky to get 1-2 of those things done this offseason IMO.

Disagree on new captain, Gudas will be fine if he's played appropriately (aka 15-16 minutes a night and not 20).

Captain is the least important part of that list, but maybe he’d be fine.

Just think he is seen as a placeholder until the kids emerge, and at this point it feels like the vets are dragging them down.

In only 15 games Nesterenko has more goals than Harkins (56 GP) Johnston (43 GP) and only one less than Leason (59 GP) and hes also tied with Lundy (71 GP).

There's a handful of forwards that seem to have an endless amount of leash despite not producing anything of significance. I feel like the team should've been more much active in bringing up guys from SD instead of just throwing out the same crappy 4th line that would probably pay more than a years salary if you ever correctly bet on one of them to score a goal.

They've gotta put Helleson with LaCombe at this point. It's probably too much responsibility for him as well, but he's the only one on that side with the legs to skate at that level.

should've brought up bailey and sent harkins down. at least the johnston experiment looks to finally be over
