My general consensus after tonight should have been despite the experts and general hockey fans opinions, we’re 25 points ahead and I’d take our rebuild.

Of course instead, now I gotta justify that we have really good players with the coach being a dumbass for the umpteenth time to people who think our young guys are overrated.

Absolutely did not deserve to win. Got completely outplayed by the worst team in hockey.

Cant wait for the “I don’t knows” in the post game presser.
We won now he can talk about the teams effort, and will to come back after adversity(hint: he is the adversity)

The vets were the problem tonight, for the most part. Every last one of them was awful.

“ Carlyle 2.0” even though he brought a cup + got us to the finals his second go around
He did not get us to the finals and yes I know what you meant. The problem with Carlyle wasn't his performance in his best era. The problem is the game passed him by and he should not be considered for the job now.

And yes Carlyle had a good first year back before the league started transitioning to the way the game is played today en masse. Us not having enough guys with pushback is a roster construction issue, not a coaching issue. And no one here is opposed to more physicality in the lineup as long as the player we add can actually play hockey. E.g. No one here wants to see Ross Johnston play another game for this team but we're all excited and hopeful that Solberg can develop to his potential.
