Buying out Jarry for 6 years and Graves for 8 years seems kind of crazy to me. Just keep them and see if you can get rid of them with retention at any point.

This is the kind of tanking effort we need the rest of the way out.
Get down by 4-5 goals early, and then let Sid score a few points when the game is out of hand…….we get Misa or Hagens for our effort…. Everyone wins!

Looking like we will be 7-10 and then whatever happens with the Rangers.

We will see what the Rangers think about their future as a team if they fall in that 11-13 range and still send that pick over to us.

If that pick is 10th or lower they should send it to us. Im hoping they keep it though. Ill take McKenna next year with that pick please and thanks.

It’s looking like they should be lower than 10th. But unless they think they have a chance to be much worse next year, is a 10th this year really that much better than a 7-8th a year from now?

Hard to see them fall off a cliff and be down there with those 4-5 teams (hell even the Penguins now) fighting for McKenna?

Not a chance in hell we are able to package our two picks next year to even get McKenna. No one would be that dumb to trade him away even if we somehow got the 2nd and 3rd picks.
