What the **** happened to Richards? I thought he was playing pretty solidly up until the Olympic break.

His play has been ok 5v5 up until about the yankee stadium games. That's when our PP started sucking. Now his 5v5 isn't doing well and we aren't scoring on the PP.

Heading off at the end of a shift with his back turned to the puck. I suppose he's supposed to know the puck is behind him, stay on and then the team will be charged with a too many men penalty because his replacement is already on for their shift.

There is a reason that never happens. He should be engaged until whichever player was attempting to pass to him has crossed center ice. He was the only forward up with him and needs to be an option as an outlet. Once the puck gets across center and dumped in THEN you can change. It's pretty basic.

I didnt think he would have a let down because of that, he has been playing well.

I think Talbot should have started b/c I'm not sure if Lundqvist is in the right mind state having a ceremony for him pregame.

Right now, the whole team has had a let down though. Its a typical home game.
