The Terry line NEEDS to be broken up and it's not his fault both Frank and Strome have gone completely flaccid for a LONG time now when was there last set of effective games?

Im fine with how this played out sans one detail. I am so sick of this team getting spanked on the back half of back to backs, AND being beaten and often spanked on teams playing them on the back half of a back to back.
 
Played well. Samuel c and Leo scored.
Nobody got hurt, gudas is showing that no matter what he’s not playing past his current contract with us. No meaningless points earned. I’m super ok with tonight. This will be the last draft we have a chance to draft in the top 10. Hopefully for a decade or so. So I’m ok with not gaining meaningless points.

Eh. The problem is usually them getting outplayed and outworked by a less rested team. I don't think that was really the problem tonight. Sure the Leafs hemmed them in a few times but that's just because Toronto's 5 on 5 puck movement is better than our man press system.

More often than not, Anaheim looked like the more energized team. It was just in the last minute everyone looked gassed.

What keeps annoying me is by virtue of not playing on the powerplay at all, Cutter played the least out of everyone but the fourth line.

Like Cutter has been playing so well lately. He looks good with Leo. Why are we punishing him with 12:44 TOI in a game we needed more offense? Like the team is playing better but it's hard not to think it's more of a result of belief, team synergy, and pride rather than Cronin doing anything to help when we see shit like this or him using the fourth line as his shutdown match up line.

Agreed they didn't get outworked this time like they have previous, it's a pretty vain gripe I'll concede. But I won't let you talk me down from it!

leaf fans remind me of 2009-12 canuck fans. Their team is successful, has 2-3 stars, falls short in the playoffs every year but they act as if they've won the Cup the last 5 years straight. So unbearable. I'm glad we only see them once a year.
