Toronto beat the Kings last night so hopefully they will come in a little laid back.

This is a game that should be open for guys like Leo and Z. More space the better.

Looking at stats, Ducks are no longer bottom 5 in scoring. Can you imagine if they had an actually PP and not this abomination of 2 mins of crap. They have become more dangerous Short handed, which is nuts.

Some obvious things to be optimistic about but it’s still staggering to look at how much more productive Toronto’s top players are than ours:

Well. I am going to this game. Which Ducks team will I get ? Islanders? Hurricanes?
Which leafs team will I get? San Jose? LA?

What's weird is we were more dangerous short-handed last year with 12 shorites. Shorties scored last year: LW Vatrano x3, LW Rico x2, RW Leason x2, C Carrick x2, C Mac, RW Silf, and C Lundy. Losing Rico and Carrick, who play on separate PK units due to their FO capabilities, did affect our shorty opportunities this season. Guess Thompson realized he can put top-6F to play on the PK again like when Rico did it last year. Also, Verbeek needs a bottom-6 FO specialist that PK's to potentially kill of 20-25 seconds of a PK when the PK team wins the FO.

Our PK unit still sucks like the previous two seasons. Saving grace is that Cronin got the team to play far more disciplined this year to reduce the PK GA by not being on the PK often. After 72 games, the PK GA is reduced by 34 goals against just by being disciplined. Kudos to Cronin for making the team more disciplined to cut down on GA's on the PK.

Lol. Would he funny if Cronin would be meh when the refs give or not give us PP but then go and beef with refs about GIVING us penalty to give us a PK :laugh:

I get more excited now when we are on the PK. It’s rather sad but Leo and Terry are gonna counter back and love it. Would not be shocked if Terry gets a SHG down the stretch.

Maybe it's a sign to get new kicks? Like the Carlsson 91/ 4 point series? Also, buy a sling to get more sympathy getting into that line to buy the shoes, alcohol, etc...

I wanted to buy an away jersey but they are sold out likely for rest of the season. Was going to get Carlsson or Gauthier .

So picked up a Mac and Gauthier shirt last game and will get a Leo one tonight.

Bad feeling about this game today... but, I might go for the first goal of the game thread since I got the first homer right in the Rangers game today. :DD
