One of two things will happen tonight...

1. The Rangers are fired up and got the momentum gained last night = Win

2. They come out flat because there is no more juice left after the battle against CBJ = Loss

Btw, I think AV mentioned that Talbot will play tonight, is that a good idea when games are so important?

And finally...according to Jacket fans we are the softest team in the league, and I'm afraid they're right.

The softest team in the league they couldn't take the puck away from and lost to us. I'll take it.

Are we really going to take to heart what Columbus fans think?

..Columbus?!

Columbus doesn't have a right to make fun of anyone. This is the first time in their existance that they're relevant. Who cares what a bunch of Ohio hicks think?

i work at Buffalo Wild Wings, and of course, everybody and their ugly mother is going to be coming in to watch college basketball....****.

i hope theres an open tv somewhere

LGR!!!

Last time we are going to see Brodeur vs Lundqvist?

Going to have to play Jagr/Zajac hard. Still can't believe Jagr is as good as he is at this age. Wish we never got rid of him! (he was my favorite post lock out forward, sorry Callahan fans).

No need to play him. Talbot just played a game. Lundqvist was stellar the other night. And I know Lundqvist haters will hate to hear it, but outside of the one game against Boston, statistically, he has been good since returning from the Olympics (that one game, in a statistic sense, would be a statistical outlier).

Lundqvist is a big boy, he can handle the back-to-back games. If he was playing shaky like in the first month or two, I'd say potentially give him the night off. He's been playing good goal for the last 2-2.5 months now.

My point is, there really should be no "loser" points. It's moronic that that was invented.

If they had to do it, they should pro-rate them like the 3 (ROW) - 2 (SO) - 1(Loser).

That would put the standings like this.

1. Boston-147
2. Pitt - 135
3. TBL - 118
4. MTL - 116
5. Philly - 115
6. NYR - 114
7. CLB - 109
8. TML - 107
9. DET - 104
10. NJD - 103
11. WSH - 102
12. Car - 98
13. OTT - 94
Piles
FlA
Buff

Mr. Bettman does not want this. He prefers to wave his magic hockey stick and have everyone pretend "it's close"

"You know what, I'm happy for Columbus. Nobody deserves a passionate fanbase more then the Jackets, good for them!".

I'm glad posters here can stop giving them charitable compliments.

Not directed at you, just easy to quote by the way.

Lundquist has been pretty good and he was excellent last night, but there is no reason not to play Talbot in a back to back game when Talbot has been playing like he's been playing this season. He can be relied upon.

Check my post history. I really never had the love for Columbus that other rangers fans had. They were always just another team.

I thought AV said Lundqvist would be playing tonight.

At the very end of AV's post game comments last night I believe he was asked if Cam plays tonight, and he said yes. But it was hard to hear the actual question, reporters never have mics..

My bad, should have worded it more like "posts like these". Wasnt directed at you at all.

It's funny how much sympathy they got for one brutal season. Fact is theyre the red headed stepchild of the entire league and finally have a somewhat competitive team with average assets in the end. Brandon Dubinsky, Anisimov and Nick "I look like a superstar" Foligno don't have much more room for improvement. Let them have their fun.

Speaking of assets, is Ryan Murray hurt?
