MSL not scoring will eventually come back to haunt them.

Hes not creating anything for himself. He's made a few setups but he's just not getting scoring chances.

Hes not snakebitten. He's going through the motions because for the first time in his career he is not a primary option.

Very disappointed. Ill give him another week.

I've been one of his harshest critics but I think he's busting his ass tonight.

But...
1. They didn't get him for just a second
2. MSL >>> Vanek
3. MSL has another year on his contract

Oh yeah sorry they threw in a prospect who is horrible . Not saying msl isn't better than vanek just saying there was no need to give up a first and second.

Thats not fine. His job is to score. Lots of guys can make plays. The elite guys make those plays end up in the back of the net.

Ive seen no difference in the offense since the trade. None.

Correct! In fact our best line of zucc-brass-poo was broken up. Anyway make me eat crow msl and start putting puck in the net

Waiting for St. Louis to score

Is that Ribeiro?

And Callahan didnt?

Sather wanted offense. He didnt trade the most popular player and possibly two 1st rounders for hustle and effort.

St. Louis is useless if he is not providing offense. Creating plays and finishing them are night and day.

Well very clearly there was a need to give up a first and a second as I'm sure when they offered just a first it was rejected. Additionally the prospect has an 8.0D rating so seems like he is not "horrible" just a rather large project in the same was as Buchenevich.

Are you forgetting that Callahan wanted 1.5 million per year more then he was worth. you can't keep him for what he wanted.

I've been criticizing the trade since before, when, and after it happened, FYI.

The offense has gotten worse.

He has also completely nullified Zucc.

Callahan wanted 50% shares in the franchise and a Hyundai.

Yet we could have done the right thing and not traded for a 40 year old man, who has only proved that point even more since coming here.

No-one is saying that Cally should have been resigned.

Cally was getting traded, but it didn't have to be for MSL. He has sucked since he got here. I don't care what he is doing if he isn't putting up points. The whole point of him coming here was to provide more offense.

And it's definitely not a real surprise to those people. That guy buying the lotto ticket killed someone at the end of a Law & Order episode.

That's amazing.

Also, that commercial is two things..

1) saying we want you to gamble to give to charity
2) a complete myth

When they designed the Prudential Center, why did they decide to have the Devils defend the net nearest the zamboni gate twice per game? You get so many weird bounces out of that corner.

No. I know.

But i caught myself getting happy with him making simple plays. We've all been reduced to hoping for little victories with him, when in reality we should be seeing PPG offense.

Im trying to figure out the Rangers were the only ones at the deadline to overpay with assets. An extra year of contract?

He needs to score. Period.
