To think that weiner Fletcher could have parlayed a better return, and could have resigned Giroux for probably fair or less than market value. Our center depth would be that much better. That was the season they drafted Michkov as well so they could of had them both

You're off by a year. That was the season they drafted Gauthier.

Frost scratched but golden boy Tipperino has no consequences for his piss poor play so far this season.

Sounds about right. What are they chances Frost and Brink (the 2 players who are always scratched) are actually banged up, instead of Torts just doing his go to move?
Zero % they are banged up.

Tippy Poheling together, Torts 2 fav boos SUCK TOGETHER, yet you scratch other players.

We are 100% healthy and will roll out possibly the worst forward lineup in years tonight !

Get Jett, Frost, Brink out of the lineup and their youngest team in the NHL badge of honour is gone !

Their problem right now isn't legs, it's pressing.
Even Michkov is forcing passes to no one.
Teams go through this every year, just that they picked the start of the season, compounded by the West Coast trip.

It would also help if the goalies would come up with a couple big saves, Lindgren made those saves, Ersson didn't.
And a little luck as well, hitting a lot of posts to start the season.

So like I said, they're completely figured out and coaching has no answer. Not a surprise since Tortorella announced at the atty he wouldn't really be doing the basic job.

With this moronic coaching move, it's only a matter of time until Deslaurier is scratched with Brink and Frost, and Torts goes back to Ol' Trusty - 11F 7D.

Get Johnson back in there!
It is wild that some of the authentic morons on twitter are already turning on Torts.

Any human with functioning eyesight can see who the worst Flyer players are.

Stats updated in OP for whoever cares about those, not that I expect we learned anything productive in the last 12 hours.

Not that this is a good or reliable use of stats at this stage of the season, since everything individual is still going to be heavily skewed by team factors...but the Flyers don't have anyone in the top 150 for xGF%. I wouldn't take anything specific seriously at this stage, especially comparing across teams, but it is still a "Lit Slay Yeet Oof" as the cool youth always say these days.

And this is currently the top 5, because someone in this fanbase did some grievous sin that we all must atone for:

Tippett is mega concerning. He's looking exactly like the Florida player I wanted no part of, especially not in exchange for Giroux. Being wrong about him was very cool. I'd like to keep having the coolness.

That's been a big concern for me too. He doesn't at all look like the player he was last year. It took some time for him to get started, so I'm hoping it's the same thing this year.
