Reading this thread, I think I'm in an alternative universe rooting for the Florida Flyers.

With my fellow fair weather fans.

Good to see Gus get the boot, And G Nolan TK is appealing, hope Nolan missing is just a rest day and AA being on that line would never happen

It will take some time to evaluate what NP is capable of and if he can „survive“ a couple of hits. It‘s ok that people are positive about his and Oscars return to the lineup though. Who wouldn‘t?

I didn‘t expect NP to play a single more NHL game to be honest. And I still don‘t expect much, but of course wish to be proven wrong yet again.

Plagued with injuries already it appears to be „thin ice“ that the Flyers have to rely upon a subpar D and some F‘s with huge question marks around them.

We've seen this script before, team sucks, probably won't make the playoffs . . . a month later team is hottest team in the NHL, ever since Y returned to the lineup.

The impact of injuries can be direct, the loss of a good player, but also indirect, imbalanced lines/defensive pairs so that other players start to struggle. We're seeing both right now.

The most important thing is not to panic, especially Fletcher.

Oh thank f***

oh wait Hayes and Provorov are still there so it's still screwed

Please just put Giroux on the Sanheim/Ghost unit

This team had one great month last year and expectations got thrown out of whack because it came right before the shutdown and that is all anyone could remember. They were pretty average to above average for most of last season.
I'll just add the caveat that the expectations factor in a healthy Lindblom, Patrick, and Ghost. So while I expect them to be better, it isn't just a matter of having better players and voila. The coach has to be better. The GM has to be better.

To give you an idea of how much better the Devils are playing than the Flyers, they shut-out the Islanders with Scott f***ing Wedgewood in net last night.

He was a backup in the AHL last season with a sub .900 save percentage.

He would immediately be our 3rd best defensemen behind Provorov and Sanheim. What kind of question is this?

Alright smart guy lol, I know there are some Flyers fans that would rather see him sit and play, I didnt mean it literally.
