Let's not exclude the fact that the team has just looked unprepared for the beginning of each game. Part of that is planning, but the players are just taking the first 20 minutes of the game to get acclimated each time. Of all 3 periods I would think that the 1st period would be the easiest one to fix as the season goes on.
