Going off my last post, because I talked about them looking slow, which renders the forecheck game that's supposed to be "our game" useless. They do look slow, but they also look like they're playing with no urgency and this is often the case this year. When they wake up and play with intensity, they don't look NEARLY as slow. I was at the Toronto game over the weekend and through 40 minutes I was saying "they're not playing with any intensity, they're not playing with any heart". All of a sudden in the third period the tying goal gave them life and they were buzzing and flying for the final 20 and looked like an entirely different team. We all know how that game ended. In the end I said "this was a classic game for us last year" meaning we played a great 20 minutes and somehow won. Somehow this team needs to find a way to get going out of the gate. They just look listless and flat in most first and second periods.

he's playing like he's in columbus. too many dangles and not utilizing his linemates. 3rd best player on his line.

I think he's been responsible for 60% of Richards points and a few Gaborik goals. No idea what you're watching. I can actually think of specific examples as well like Gabby's first against Boston and Richards' goal against Toronto. I do agree though that he isn't using his teammates enough 100%. I think he will adjust that though.
