Or he just drafted the odd couple.Best case scenario Chevy has been in touch with Jeff Goldblum and is planning to send Johannesson and Bauer through a teleporter.

Surely CRISPR can be utilized here somehow. If we can come up with a way to genetically splice them, we’ll get a sure fire #1 Dman.
Buff was an 8th rounder and was roundly panned by analysts. One called him a fat **** who would weigh in at 300# by training camp if he didn’t get his jaw wired shut. I think I will hold off on making fun of our 6th pick.
He was rated as 17th in the redraft that I saw and 2003 was one of the best drafts ever.Buff is a bigger outlier then Chara.
So you agree, he is an outlierHe was rated as 17th in the redraft that I saw and 2003 was one of the best drafts ever.
I mean, I'd been stoked on Stanley if he was drafted in the 6th
Bet this guy is a 4th line winger if he ever plays a NHL game.
I'm just being silly since I haven't been here for a while.
Of course. Isn’t every pick in the last round or two that makes it in the NHL an outlier? Anomalies exist or they wouldn’t waste the energy and time involved in the selection process. So you agree, he is an outlier
Nope. Don't care for this one.
That's fine, I'd still rather take the 6th rounder that has a 70% chance of having to watch it on TV than the 6th rounder that has a 99% chance of having to.Realistically most 6th rounders never see the NHL unless their watching it on TV!

2nd round picks have about a 40% chance of playing 100+ games in the NHL. But I wasn't trying to be statistically accurate, I was trying to make the point that it doesn't matter if 6th round picks have a low chance of making the NHL, you still want to pick the best odds regardless. At 30% to make it to the NHL you’re probably looking at a mid-late first rounder
The Jets really don’t need to develop an Oxford comma using Mark Stuart.
This has been a questionable draft for Winnipeg. I think might be our worst in recent memory, but time will tell and hope that I'm very wrong.
Which pick is questionable? Cole Perfetti at #10? He was slated to be taken as high as #4 by NBCSports, US Today, and Sam Cosentino. Daniel Torgersson who was #13 EU skater by Central Scouting and #27 by Craig Button? Anton Johannesson who slid in the draft because of injuries? Tyrel Bauer was a 2nd/3rd round talent going into the 2019/20 draft before his development got stunted by the Seattle Thunderbirds.
I read here that Corey Pronman at the Athletic rated our draft as 9th best and we only had 4 picks.
Quite a few of the draft pundits think the Jets' picks of Torgersson and Johannesson were really good, in addition to nabbing Perfetti at #10.It was a weak draft from the looks of it.
