Believe me I hope he's okay and recovers fast but I'm kinda ready for his SKA days to be over. If this means he doesn't suit up for them again and risk even more injury while playing 25 minutes a night, then I'm all for that

The zone starts aren't as big of a difference as you'd expect. I posted that on the last page. Ghost starts 59.7% of his shifts in the offensive zone, Orlov starts 55.6% of his shifts in the offensive zone

SKA lost their first playoff game... potentially 3 games left before the official #NikishinWatch

SKA lost game 1 3-1 today. We are potentially 3 games away from seeing Nikishin signed, game 4 is set for next Wednesday. Not much information about his injury but if they are swept we have 8 more regular season games after next Wednesday. We could very well see 4-5+ games of Nikishin in the regular season this year, giving Rod some risk-free time to figure out how he wants to utilize him in the playoffs. I also imagine our matchup with the Devils and seeding will be 100% set well before the end of the regular season so we should absolutely give Nikishin big minutes/opportunity and get a real look at what the kid can do right off the bat.
