i choose to believe russian fans and media believe he will be heading to north america officially at the end of the khl season, so no all-star game is his "punishment"
Hmmm, good point. I shall rethink my plan for him. He should go Boom all they asses and then rage quit the league and get someone to smuggle him over here immediately.

A curiosity for the Habs fan too. We know that a lot people of our staff make the trip recently to Russia to have a close look at Demidov game, but is it possible some talks are in the making to MAYBE transfer his right the habs?

What could be done?

On the Habs board, he proposed Matheson for Nikishin straight up?
Oh, I thought briefly of going over there to see what was being discussed, but decided that I had already used enough of my gummies on the other thread and probably didn’t have enough left for what I would find there.

Once again, I was correct.

I see... sorry to bother you guys. You have a good one in the pipeline. Nice grab!

Then, I wouldnt be that surprised to see Nikishin traded for immediate help like written previously on a LWDS article.

I see the issue here. Don’t get your sushi from a gas station, and don’t get your Canes information from LWDS.

Oh God apologies for having to read LWDS, nobody should be forced that upon them.

That said to answer your original question, the cost to get Nikishin would be so high you would laugh at it being unreasonable, and that would be the point. You're not getting him for anything less than a gigantic overpayment.

Ok, like a dumbass, I went and searched for the article. It looks like he was referencing was February 2023 talking about potentially going for it and getting immediate help as they had Stanley cup aspirations and may not want to wait until 2025. It also said "his likelihood to leave the KHL in 2025. Nikishin has the tools to be a solid NHL defenceman and you’d hate to give up on a potential Norris trophy winner."

It was basically a speculation article looking at the pros and cons of moving him 2 YEARS AGO vs. waiting for him to come in 2025.

So not only is the article not a good source and speculative, it talks about a situation that existed 2 years ago.
