Flyers are now actually in the WC2 spot if the season finished today... as Caps have a better pt%, albeit very marginally.

A loss tonight and the Isles winning? They would actually be out of the play-offs. (Red Wings would be tied but with the tiebreaker)

Only bright spot is that the Capitals schedule moving forward gets hard as well, no more easy games.

vs Leafs, Hurricanes, Jets, Wings, Leafs and then Boston

Torts has proven he can't be the guy in a rebuild.
Torts showing that he can't be the guy to try and get into the playoffs.

His support is so f***ing confusing. Benching Couts at home vs Matthews may be the dumbest decision of them all .

Maybe his rationale is that he knows the Flyers are likely going to lose anyways, so he's sending them (Coots, Atkinson, etc) a message anyways...but how sad would it be if Flyers made it this far and then miss the playoffs by a couple of points...I'd rather they would have gone full tank mode at the start of the season then.

Tippett (left) and Frost (center) enjoying the night at the Sixers game, excited to play with Konecny as their third linemate today.

Farabee (right) contemplating why he signed such a long deal here and what he has done wrong in life to deserve playing with Laughton.

I mean...

Lecavalier, Gaborik, Kreider, Kesler, Edler, Dubois...

not like he does not have a track record of picking fights with players.

And with Sather and Gillis... GMs.

There is part of me that thinks maybe some of this is related to not getting his way fully a the deadline, with Couts being close to Briere off ice too.

Torts the other day was blabbing about how the Flyers would be looking at bringing back Walker in the off-season... he is not the GM.

Thanks for elaborating on rules and regulations! Much appreciated.
You're welcome. Since the promotions seem to be regular rather than Emergency based on the lack of the latter worded in the Flyers' X posting, Ginning can play for anyone tonight or be a healthy scratch and remain with the team beyond today without the need for a further transaction.

Meadowlands is having a "hockey night" at the track on April 6. It is billed as" NY Rangers great Ron Greschner, Two-Time Stanley Cup Champion Grant Marshall, and Flyers' Chris Therien." Must not have been room on the marquee for "Jaromir Jagr's worst nightmare..."
The only games Therien wasn't a detriment to his Defensive partner.

Jagr hit the ice and Bundy all of sudden looked serviceable.

I learned about a quarter of the way in last year he loves picking fights and expressing his dominance over the players . I said last year he if frinken Nepolian and that statement is 100 percent true . He has turning me off the Flyers which I never thought would happen .
