I'm not sure we'd win 13 out of 15 even with the prime version of the man in that picture.

The real question is why is it a 5 pm game? HNIC just needs to have that Toronto early game for some stupid reason.

If we lose to the Leafs we just need to close the season out at 14-0 to make the playoffs...

It doesn't help that the teams above Ian are playing .800 hockey.

Seems we're going through a repeat of when Hitch was hired. Got hot, but every other team around us did too. And we unfortunately broke first (literally, multiple fingers :) ).

Sportsclub stats suggests ~7 games over .500 the rest of the way to make it. 10-3-2, 11-4-1, whatever, something like that. Didn't we go 9-2-2 when Hitch got here? :) That would do as well, as long as we got 2 points in the 14th and 15th games :)

Canada's team.
I can just imagine all the Nefwies from Fort Mac coming down Hwy 63 with their Maple leafs gear for the game tomorrow

Florida doing the Oilers a HUGE favour tonight. Win the next three and the Oilers could be within 3. Wild play the Sharks and then Stars, as long as that last game isn't a three pointer, the Oilers will have a chance to move closer. Big game against the Leafs, can get within 5 with games against the Rangers and Devils up next. If everything went perfect (Wild losing tonight, and against the Sharks and Stars), Oilers will be within 1. Losing against the Leafs would hurt, but there's still a decent chance they could pull within 3 with 12 games to go.

Seriously though, f*** the lightning for blowing it last night.

God a win tomorrow would be great. Standings wise and confidence wise. Although the Leafs are damn good offensively, which as others have pointed out seems to be a weakness of ours. I'll be cheering hard for our boys tomorrow, that's all I know.
