You guys are not giving the devils enough credit. Sometimes it not who you play but when you play them. They have been playing well. They just beat the blues last night and are 6-2-2 in their last 10. They have gotten some bounces too.

i’m so damn tired of career AHLers coming to the NHL and having one good game and then never ever getting demoted again

PDG is damn useless and has been for two months
It’s a shame because he’s useful as a 4th liner. But DQ likes him and uses him in too big of a role turning what should be a small positive of a player into a bigger negative.

Imo the same thing is happening with DQ’s over usage of Howden.

how many turnovers into odd-man rushes have we given up?

but Kakko's bad defense is why we have Fast and PDG in the top6

for energy players they dont bring energy

They’ve gotten all the bounces. But yess they have played well on D and we’ve been really bad

It’s so stupid to judge a goaltending performance purely on the total goals against out of any context and not the sequence of events of how and why the goals were scored.

The team had a brutal period defensively and the Devils got a ton of bounces, deflections, etc.

This isn’t because Shesty is ‘rusty’ or is still hurt. This can happen to any goaltender on a team that thought they would dominate a bottom feeder.

Devils have been playing good hockey lately, and Rangers need to come hard in the 3rd and try to close the gap.

I'm complaining about Staal again because there's so little happening in that 2nd. We're not going to be able to do anything remotely close to winning unless Staal is off the team. Before it all came apart, it was all Staal on the first 2 and giving the Devils free real estate in our end. The incompetence from Sather, Gorton, Vigneault, Quinn down through the assistants keeping him around playing big minutes is just mindless. Quinn is actually trying to win so hard he's willing to go against Henrik's legacy and yet Staal is still a top defenseman in his eyes.

really fed up with this clown coaching staff. only ways they can win is when their goalies stop 40+ shots or their top lines score a bunch of goals. they give up 2 goals call time out then fail to do anything and then give up 2 more all in 1 period against one of the worst teams in NHL.

The improvement to this year's NYR team is that we're still worth watching for a 3rd period where there's a three goal deficit.

Been many years since you could say that.

Took me about a week (although my recovery was rushed). It's amazing how similar injuries aren't the same....
I two lowermost ribs in my right (in the back), so maybe that affected as well? But you’re right. People recover at different rates.

Took me 6-8 weeks for the pain to be gone when I broke mine.
That’s an abnormal timetable. If you had a single nondisplaced rib fracture, that should be completely healed by 6 weeks and not still causing you pain. Of course everyone is different, but this description is not what you’d expect.

play strong games against the last two cup winners but then getting laughed off the ice by a lottery team is a great photo of this season

2 fractures in the lower right back.

Not sure what's worse, losing this game or having to hear Blackwood > Shesterkin until their next matchup.
