they're calling a bunch of borderline interference calls tonight that would normally be let go, imho.

No kidding. Maybe they got into some kind of groove at the Olympics, and it is just this game starting to show.

I love it when Hagelin gets involved. Even though he is not big, he always has his best games when he gets into the dirty areas and the front of the net. Maybe just luck, but he is good at those 'garbage' goals.
Works for me.

Well, whatever it is, hopefully it'll keep going. Lundqvist, Hags, CK, Dan-G, Klein and MSL have had solid games. (I won't bother mentioning McD; he's a given.)

Addendum: D-Step is doing quite nicely as well.

The team pushed back tonight.
After the last couple of games, especially against the Canes, this game is a good thing.

Buff gives Stepan a shot in the back in front of goaland Stepan did not even flinch or turn around. Good calm work by Stepan. I like that.

This game has been incredible in all the shifts of momentum. The Rangers were hemmed in their own zone for so long, it just felt that it was inevitable that the Jets would score.
