Cally scored almost 60 points his best season here and is significantly more physical than Hags. I'd imagine that's why, though i'm all for exposing some NA bias.

I'm going to say physicality. I don't know if I've ever seen him really go all in on a hit.

He skates hard, and he puts forth as much effort as anyone presently on the team, but it's pretty rare for him to actually out-hustle, or out-work another player.

He's a perfect player for a team that's playing a Callahan-esque game, but not enough to set that tone.

There is absolutely no reason for Hagelin to not go to the net. He does not have to be big, he simply has to want to.
