I know they play different positions, but why can't Hagelin fit the mantra left behind by Callahan as the Rangers 'Heart and Soul'? Is it because he is Swedish?

Cally scored almost 60 points his best season here and is significantly more physical than Hags. I'd imagine that's why, though i'm all for exposing some NA bias. ;)

This is a really entertaining game. A whole lot better than watching some snooze-fest team like the Minnesota Wild. The Wild are bad for hockey. Who would really want to watch that team?

One good way to counter that is by beating the ever loving **** out of a team like that with physical, hard hitting, net crashing play.

I'm going to say physicality. I don't know if I've ever seen him really go all in on a hit.

He skates hard, and he puts forth as much effort as anyone presently on the team, but it's pretty rare for him to actually out-hustle, or out-work another player.

He's a perfect player for a team that's playing a Callahan-esque game, but not enough to set that tone.

Rangers PP... Bogosian penalty....talk about a bust... his offense never broke out as of yet but is only 23 but was taken 3rd overall.

There is absolutely no reason for Hagelin to not go to the net. He does not have to be big, he simply has to want to.
