Poor play by Hank there.
He should've taken control of the puck and just driven to the net with it and score.
 
wow Montoya is all over the place. should be able to get a couple past him
 
You know why the opposing goalie always seems like Hasek to us? It's because the Rangers treat them that way. It's Al Montoya for crying out loud, just put the damn puck on net, he's falling down by himself. Always one pass too many.

Normally i'm fine with the team "passing too much" because when they're making good plays, they're winning. The confidence to try the pretty play often translates into the confidence to get the W.

...but you're right here, Montoya can't stay on his skates. :laugh:
 
Rangers are the type of team that gets a ton of shots on goal and still only score 1-2 goals a night. I think thats a testament to our B grade scoring chances. Its very rare we get A grade scoring chances, and it seems like when we do we botch them. The first goal tonight was a very typical Ranger goal.
