  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

There is clearly talent on this team, it's really encouraging. Their biggest issues seem to be defensive system and offensive-zone decision making.

The former is an obvious coaching decision. The latter is something that comes with time in the pros but I think can be supplemented with a good coach and where I think Cronin is really killing us. These kids need to be taught how to succeed in an elite league, it's not something that happens quickly naturally.

It’s annoying because in the beginning of the season, Cutter was still adjusting to the NHL, so was Leo who had to yet play a full season. These guys have more experience now, so put them back. Cutter is the sniper that Leo needs. Z and Mac have chemistry so it’s a no brainer to swap them.
Yeah if the mindset was "they don't have the chemistry we thought they would" it's a stupid reason not to keep trying them together. Cutter wasn't just struggling. His sloppy puck management and no look pass attempts targeted at trying to impress the coaches was not a chemistry issue. It was a development/adjustment issue for Cutter. Once Cutter cleaned his game up, they still weren't trying the pair with each other. And if chemistry was the reason it's all the more laughable considering how many games Killorn has been shackled to Leo's ankle.

But they really are a natural fit. Leo the pass first playmaker, Cutter the shoot first sniper. Both of them are super fast. It makes so much sense and we waited until there's 14 games left in the season to try it again.

Leo the fast playmaker. Cutter the fast sniper. Killorn the slow vet.
