  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

I hate to be the guy who is analyzing body language, since I know mileage varies quite a bit. But am I alone in thinking that the team's body language these last few games has been really bad? Guys standing around or taking their time to get back on defense or get to the bench.

There's just a sense that the team knows the season is over.
The team is a body that has run out of adrenaline. There is absolutely going to be a sag

Leo has to stop doing that peel back and curl move every Single time along the boards. It’s not going to work. These defenseman are too big and to good at reading it and taking away his time. He never attempts to beat people wide and go to the net or take a shot down the wing like Gauthier does.

Frustrating

I don't know - I actually thought that was the right move there and I applauded it. He didn't have the angle or the speed to make a play by himself, so he stopped, shielded the puck, and used his vision to find someone coming late who could take a more dangerous shot. Carlsson is a playmaker - I think that's going to be a good play for him a lot of the time.

I don’t think it was a terrible play, but he does it every time.

At some point you have to keep the defense honest and try to beat someone down the wall and go to the net. and he has great speed too
Most stars do that pretty regularly.
Just an observation

Agreed. They absolutely look like they are just going through the motions to play out the string.

If I wake up from a nap and the first thing I see is that the Ducks are playing a hockey game how can I be certain I’m not still asleep and this is a nightmare

Dang. There's a classic Leo "do 9 things right and then mess up the 10th". That's a great scoring opportunity if hegets that puck to Killorn.

And then it ends up in the back of our net.
