Both goals by Carolina tonight are a result of the same kinds of defensive breakdowns we were seeing at the start of the season when we were learning a completely new system. Back then I guess it was understandable. Now, with 18 games to go and making the playoffs on the line, it is inexcusable.
That being said, I think we come out strong in the 3rd and find a way to tie it. Next goal wins the game.

Just seem to be slightly off tonight.
Two goals against were a result of terrible coverage.
I don't know if the passing is bad or if the puck is bouncing (it was nearly 80 degrees in North Carolina today.)

We're the better team, but we ruin it with sloppy mistakes. 1st Canes goal was because they weren't paying attention at the start of the season, 2nd Canes goal was the result of bad positioning by our defenders.

What are you talking about? The Rangers come back in the 3rd period after entering it losing by a goal to the Carolina Hurricanes, with the Rangers 1st goal coming from a Defenseman, and a Carolina goal coming from J. Staal? That's NEVER happened.

The game won't pick a pace, though we're generally on the better end. Dominated for a brief period, followed by a defensive lapse and a 2-on-0 goal.
Getting knocked off the puck really easy, and losing too many 1 on 1 battles.
But we're wearing "traditional" jerseys, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.
