GDT: #65 ⋅ ANA @ UTA ⋅ 7:00 PM PDT (Game is on TNT)

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
Remember, we keep losing down the stretch. At least would mean the entire coaching staff is fired. Cronin does have to go. I get the feeling that Utah will do something dirty and we will retaliate. Couple fights tonight
 
19 shots given up in the 1st period last game, already 13 shots given up in the first period of this one with 7 minutes still to go.....

Well. Anemic crowd aside, the SLC metro area makes sense for a second major pro sports team (third I guess if you count MLS). Outside of skiing/snowboarding, they really have f*** all to do out there.

Not sure that fanbase is ever going to get truly passionate, but I'd bet they'll do fine with attendance. Or at least better than the Coyotes.

Yah they second period is going to be brutal. I expect Utah to ramp it up and get like 4 more. Ducks are not boxing anyone out. Washington showed the whole league how to play against us. Just keep crashing the crease. We panic

+1 the problem with him is, and any dmen his size. Unless you’re the elite of the elite ( ie Hughes faber etc) small dman can’t be affective in the league. Because they give up way too much size and space. So unless zell becomes this mega elite offensive dman. I don’t see a place for him either .

The schedule since 4 Nations has been absolutely brutal. Even teams that have coaches with functioning brains would have probably struggled with the amount of nonsensical back to backs and 3 games in 4 night that we’ve had to endure since the break ended.
