How much of a f***in ******* do you have to be to take a penalty there. Skate hard and cut off the right side as much as possible. You give up a penalty shot and he has the freedom to skate in without pressure and pick whatever side he wants to shoot on.

It was actually a smart play by Moore. Lifting the stick is defense 101. The problem is he just got the glove of Bozak (which made it a penalty). An inch the other way and it's not a penalty at all.

Bad break for Moore.

I dont know if Benny Allaire is trying to get hank to be more aggressive in his crease but it looks like he's been playing awfully far out, he thrives when he sits back deep in the net hes getting away from that.

That was an awful call.

Am I crazy?

Not at all, that was one of the most brutal penalty shot calls i've ever seen. Moore made no contact with his hands, he hooked his stick and prevented him from getting a clean shot off. That's legal.

Hank's complete inability to save breakaways is hurting the Rangers, though.

Didn't see a replay but obviously if it was a bad call than disregard. That said I've seen quite a few players have one side cutoff and then idiotically take the penalty there

It wasn't a bad call. He just clipped the glove. One can say it shouldn't be a penalty shot since he barely touched the glove, but it disrupted the shot. I'm fine with the call.

Only issue is he shot it right through Hank.

Rangers really need Zucc back in the lineup. Just not getting enough offensive pressure through their lines.

Rangers are also going to have to make a very long/hard decision about Stepan in the off season. He is not getting it done. He is REALLY holding back our first line.

I just rewound it on the DVR and analyzed it in slow-motion. He made no contact with the glove, all stick. It's a brutal call.
